| 1. Where can I find the MSDS sheets for this product? |
|
|
 |
| 2. How can I calculate repair area sq/ft. coverage with your products? |
Coverage calculation will depend upon a number of factors relevant to the type of repair you need to perform. The material label reads:
“Each 5-gallon kit (56 pounds) will cover 50 square feet at 1/8” depth”
This coverage rate applies to surface repairs such as restoring alligatored asphalt, or any skim application, such as to cure a pavement bird bath (puddle), surface fracturing, pitting, or smooth floor resurfacing and/or restoration.
For long crack repair, the Linear coverage is 56 feet at 1” x 1”.
When using the product for deep pothole, spall, or large crack repairs, you can expect each 5-gal kit to fill approximately .40 cu/ft (~ 696 cu/inches). You can also extend the material up to 30% (kit will fill approximately .55 cu/ft, or ~ 900 cu/inches) using the material over (or mixed with) 25 lbs. of a 3/8” to 1” clean dry angular aggregate (rock). Use of an aggregate (optional) extends the cubic volume of coverage, thereby saving on material cost. Weight is 56 lbs. per 5-Gal kit; 28 lbs. per 3-Gal Kit.
Here is a nice Online Volume Calculator you may find useful in determining your material requirements. |
