SURFACE PREPARATION
Clean out with a brush or blow out any cracks or potholes with a leaf blower or compressed air to remove loose and unsound material.
Apply to dry surfaces only. Moist or damp surfaces will weaken products ability to bond to the surface. KEEP PAILS SEALED UNTIL READY FOR USE. Moisture will degrade product. Please read ALL OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS before proceeding. Always use your Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] – SAFETY FIRST!
MIXING
Remove 12-pound bag of topping sand and both “A” and “B” bottles of polymer from the 5-gallon pail.
Gently shake the “A” bottle, and aggressively shake the “B” bottle to mix well before use.
Add the “A” bottle of polymer to the 5 gallon container of treated sand and mix with a pail mixer for 1 minute or until sand mixture is completely wet.
Next, add all of the “B” polymer and mix thoroughly for 30 to 60 seconds at 75° f or warmer ambient temperatures; Mix for 1 minute at 70° f or cooler ambient temperatures. A longer mix of the “B” component will accelerate the cure time slightly and insures proper mixing at cooler temperatures.
The material is now ready to be applied to the prepared area and should be in the form of a very pourable slurry. Pour all of the mixed material onto the area(s) to be treated. Do not leave material in the pail once mixing is complete. Working time will be approximately 7 to 9 minutes at an ambient temperature of 70 degrees F.
INSTALLATION
Squeegee, screed, gauge-rake or trowel the thin slurry over the repair area. The outer areas of the repair can be feathered into the existing surface with a hand trowel. Once the liquid material is applied to the repair area, proceed to broadcast the repair using all 12 pounds of the included topping sand evenly over the repair area.
CURE
Cure for one hour minimum at a temperature of 75 degrees F. allowing approximately 30 minutes for every 5 degrees below 75 degrees. To maintain a rapid cure at lower temperatures, add a measured amount of the supplied (free upon request) catalyst per the included instructions. Colder temperatures will dictate a slower cure rate.

SHELF LIFE
One year when stored indoors, unopened under cool and dry conditions.
PAIL DISPOSAL
Dispose empty pails in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
FIRST AID IF INHALED
Remove to fresh air, if not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth to mouth. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen, call a physician.
SKIN CONTACT
Wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.
EYE CONTACT
Flush with water; continue for at least 15 minutes. Contact a physician.
SPILL OR LEAK
In case of liquid spill of unmixed materials A and B absorb spilled material with sawdust, sand or other absorbent, sweep into waste container, neutralize with decontamination solution (93% water, 5% ammonia, 2% detergent) and store open container outdoors for a minimum of 24 hours. Dispose neutralized waste in accordance with Federal, State and local government environmental regulations.
DEEP POTHOLE REPAIR
Remove loose and unsound material. If water is present, blow out standing water with a leaf blower or compressed air. Allow to dry, or if necessary, dry wet asphalt or concrete with a propane torch. The area MUST be dry to ensure maximum performance.
OPTIONAL: To extend the material, place clean, dry, angular (not river rock), 3/4” to 1” size, crushed rock aggregate evenly to just below grade. Up to 25 pounds of rock aggregate may be used per 5-Gal Kit. The material can be installed with, or without, extending over rock aggregate.
Combine the “A” bottle of polymer with sand mixture and blend. Mix to wet out treated sand completely. Then add the “B” bottle of polymer and mix per the normal mixing instructions found at the beginning of this document.
Pour mixture evenly over aggregate allowing penetration to bottom of repair. Material can be manipulated as needed using a squeegee, gauge rake or trowel. When product is precisely level to grade, broadcast topping sand evenly over surface. The high traction surface matches the surrounding asphalt or concrete in appearance and can be returned to traffic in about 60 minutes!
