FASTPATCH™ Asphalt Alligator Crack Repair (FastPatch ACR) is a cold applied, easy to mix asphalt restoration and repair material. FastPatch ACR is used to repair alligatoring cracks while providing a protective layer over the cracks to help prevent further cracking and to keep water from entering the cracks. FastPatch ACR is a 100% solids polymer composite. No water or solvents. FastPatch ACR is supplied in complete, ready-to-use kits. FastPatch ACR can be applied in cool or warm conditions to form a permanent repair that is quickly ready for traffic.

For spot repairs of "alligatored" asphalt [use only where open cracks are present].
Localized spot repairs of alligator cracking on roadways, parking lots, driveways and walkways.

Great product!!! I wire brushed, brushed and blew off the alligator cracked areas that were also a 1/4”-1/2” depressions. I then used a torch to make sure it was completely dry. After that I used a 2x4 laid across the damaged area and some chalk to mark off where the depression begin. With the area marked off clearly I mixed the Part A with Part B for 2min and quickly poured the entire bucket down first 4x10 spot and used a 48” squeegee to fill in and level the ACR. My wife helped with cleaning up the auger while I was spreading the material and afterwards with sanding. Was super easy and I didn’t have to bust out and haul off the whole area. Nor did I have to get a 1/2 ton of cold patch and compactor to repair the one 4x10 spot. I used 1 bucket for on a 4x10 heavy cracked area that was also a 1/4” depression in the middle. I also used 1 bucket on a 5x11 area with moderate to heavy cracking and 1/2” depression in the middle. I plan to topcoat the areas in an acrylic blacktop coating and I believe they’ll blend right in. The first two repairs went so well I bought 3 more kits the same day!

This is a great product. My asphalt driveway had a section that was terrible alligator cracked. Mixed it up and used a driveway squeegee. It filled all the holes, Self leveled, and hardened. it looks great! love this product.

In the end, I ordered four kits to put on my alligator cracked driveway. In the first order, I ordered one kit + an eggbeater mixer thinking that I would be able to cover most of my driveway cracks with it. After following the instructions on the kit, I was ready to begin patching the cracks on my driveway. I mixed for ~2 minutes, put the lid back on, and started pouring the mixture out of the pour hole. The temperature outside was 60F, so I knew I had some flex time to get the mixture into the cracks. What the instructions fail to mention is that you need to dump the ENTIRE bucket as soon as it is mixed. By dumping the whole bucket, you will have about 10 minutes of working time to squeegee it to fill the voids. If you do not dump the whole bucket, it will start to set and will become unusable. I lost about a half of a bucket due to this. After having trouble with the first bucket, I called PTI and asked for some advice. Here is what they told me: - Don't over mix. 2 minutes is likely too long to mix. Mix for ~60-90 seconds or until the two mixtures appear to be fully mixed. - Dump the entire bucket. Having an extra pair of hands was helpful when using buckets #2-4. Application went on smooth. I made another order. In the second order, I ordered 3 more kits of ACR. I wish that I would have added one more to my cart because there were a few small spots that I would have loved to patched with the ACR patch rather than sealcoating. Overall, I am super excited how this product worked on my very ugly alligator cracked driveway. Thank you for taking the time to provide some advice and recommendations on how to apply the product after my first unsuccessful attempt.
